A strong growing tree producing an abundance of medium sized red/orange striped apples. Flesh is creamy white, very juicy, richly sweet and filled tannins and perfect acidity. Tends to produce heavy crops one year and lighter crops the following year. A most excelled Apple for making Cider. A 19th Century Heirloom.
Pollinate with Belle de Boskoop, Bramley, Bulmers Norman, Braeburn, Gravenstein.
