China Pink is a fantastic shrub growing approx 1.5-2m tall and wide. Purplish-red leaves and an abundance of bright pink fringe-flowers in spring, with lighter flowering through the summer. Full sun to dappled shade and would prefer some protection from intense summer sun/heat and very heavy frost. Requires well composted, free draining and moist soil to be at its best. China Pink may be pruned hard if necessary.
Use as a clipped hedge, background or feature shrub.
