Hardy perennial with small grey-blue leaves and dainty rose pink flowers. The whole plant has a strong aroma, a little camphor-like.
Grow herb in well-drained soil. It is an ideal border plant and a great colour contrast with its petite grey-blue foliage.
Antiseptic and astringent properties have given the plant application as an infusion for external cuts and sores and skin conditions. Dried powdered leaves were used as snuff to clear the head. The dried leaves were also used to make stuffed cat toys. However, it is said that some cats dislike the smell.
