'Windsor Lad' is a very distinctive purple flowering Rhododdendron.

The gold just glows against the purple background.
The foliage is narrow, about medium length, and makes a good looking plant.
Being a ponticum hybrid, it is a hardy variety.
It is a small grower to approximately 1.2 metres.
