A tough grass like plant growing to approximately 40cm high.
From late Spring, baby pink flower buds open to reveal lovely white star shaped flowers.
Cultural: Tulbaghia Ashanti Pearl makes a fantastic border plant and looks great in mixed plantings and decorative pots; the flowers and foliage are edible and make a nice peppery garnish for salads.
Plant Landscape: Prefers free draining soil in a sunny or partly shaded position and is drought tolerant once established; Fertilise annually with a long term slow release fertiliser.
