Acer platanoides 'Globosum' is a great, grafted variety of Norway Maple.
A symmetrical and round-headed small tree which is grafted onto a 1.8m trunk, This means the trunk will never grow taller than 1.8m.
The "head" will grow approx 1.5m tall and wide. Little or no pruning is required.
Full sun to partial shade and well prepared, free draining soil.
Take great care transplanting new season trees as the root system is very delicate. It will not be fully established until late November. Alternatively, you can leave the tree in its pot until then.
