A classic of low hedging and topiary, English Box is an evergreen bushy shrub with small dark green leaves. Slow growing but tough and very long-lived. Flowers are insignificant. Easy maintenance - clip twice a year to shape as desired and provide extra water during dry spells.
Unpruned, can eventually grow to: Height 2m x Width 1m, but usually kept much smaller.
All Box benefit from Spring, Summer and Autumn feeding with a complete fertiliser such as Healthy Earth All Purpose and topdressing with Dolomite Lime in the Autumn. Best time to prune is after the Spring growth has finished and turns dark green.
