An excellent Bottlebrush, possibly one of the very best available.
This is an upright and compact evergreen shrub 2-3m tall and wide with a profuse display of extra large flowers during October and November in Canberra. The birds love the flowers!
This variety may be pruned hard if required. This is best done immediately after flowering and then fertilised with Native Plant Food.
Full sun to dappled shade. Frost and Heat hardy.
Tolerates wet and boggy soils too.
