A very hardy Camellia producing large, semi-double, light crimson flowers up to 15cm across with prominent golden yellow stamens. It is an Australian variety, discovered as a chance seedling in Camberwell, Victoria in 1912. Grows approx. 2m tall x 1m wide in 10 years. Morning sun to lightly dappled shade – needs protection from the hot summer sun. Well-composted and free draining soil.
