The dark red flowers vary from formal double to peony form, making for an extraordinary display. Deep green leaves on a compact and neat shrub to 2.5m tall x 1.5m wide over 10 years. Flowering is late in the season, September- October. Morning sun to lightly dappled shade – needs protection from the hot summer sun. Well-composted and free draining soil.
