Used for preserving, jams, pies, glace cherries and makes the best cherry liqueur/syrup.
Sour cherries are native to Europe and have been grown for centuries. These Old World Heirloom trees are of immense culinary value. They have a compact growth habit of around 3m and produce loads of small very dark red fruit - both skin and flesh. They are quite tart with an almond-like aroma and flavour.
Self fertile. No pollinator required.
Harvest late December/January.
