A scrumptious variety originating near Paceco in the province of Trapani. The outer skin is pinkish-white while that of the cloves is a deep reddish pink. The flavour is rich and strong.
Plant 20cm apart in full sun. Soil should be well composted, manured and fertilised. Mulch lightly and keep weed free - garlic resents competition.
Harvest during November and December when 2/3 of the leaves have yellowed.
