This is a male, non-fruiting, grafted variety regarded as providing the very best golden autumnal colour of all Ginkgo trees.
A slow growing and very long-lived (some wild trees are over 1000 yrs old) deciduous conifer. Height: approx. 10m over 20 yrs and 5m wide, eventually forming a broad and spreading crown.
The leaves are fan-shaped, bright, fresh green in spring, maturing to deep summer green and finally deep golden yellow in autumn.
An excellent specimen or shade tree for full sun to partial shade.
Prefers well composted, fertile and moist soil which is free draining.
