H.quercifolia Munchkin – a great dwarf form to 1m x 1m.
A very hardy and strong growing variety requiring less water than most. A deciduous and upright shrub with large, felty-textured oak-leaf like foliage, flaking papery bark on older specimens and cone shaped clusters of flowers from late spring and well into late summer. Morning sun – full shade. Leaves are green through spring and summer, turning rich russet tones in autumn.
