This is the miniature of all mints with very small heart-shaped leaves This mint grows flat on the ground with a mat-like habit, making it ideal to grow between paving stones in shade or semi-shade. Do not grow it in a hot, sunny position.
Growing Tips
Requires well drained soil with ample summer moisture. It is shallow rooted. The dainty, lush green leaves can spoil if the roots dry out. Corsican mint does not go rampant under the soil like other mints.
Use
Often used in liqueurs, the tiny leaves have a very rich aroma and flavour of peppermint, which lifts the spirit and gives energy to the body.
