A fast growing and very low maintenance, mat forming ground cover. The bright green leaves 2-3cm long x .5cm wide. Masses of small star-shaped, pure white flowers during spring and summer. It grows around 20cm tall and 1-2m wide.
Prefers full sun or lightly dappled shade and dryish, well drained soil.
Heat and frost hardy. Excellent on exposed sites and sloping banks. May be used as a lawn substitute if there is not much foot traffic.
Performs very well in Canberra.
