An excellent old world heirloom variety from the USA. It's been a favourite since the late 1800's. Regular, heavy crops of large, high quality peaches are produced every year. The flesh is a deep golden yellow-orange, very juicy and succulent with a superb flavour. Freestone. Pink flowers.
Self fertile. No pollinator needed.
Ripens mid-late February.
