The large buds open to ruffled, semi-double cerise blooms in September/October.

Deciduous shrub to approx. 1m x 1m with bright green divided leaves.
Morning sun, afternoon sun or full sun. Free-draining, very rich well composted and manured soil with 1-2 cups of garden lime added at planting. They love an alkaline soil and are easy to grow.
