| POSITION: | Full sun to part shade in any soil type. |
| FLOWERING: | Elite Cobalt will flower Summer and Autumn. The flowers are dark purple almost black and are a stunning display. |
| USES: | Ideal in hot garden beds or perennial gardens, the stunning flowers will be held above the foliage even in the hottest of weather. |
| CARE: | Salvias love to be pruned and fertilised! Elite Cobalt is no exception. If plants look tatty over the Summer months, prune between 25 to 50% of their original height and fertilize, they will respond quickly. Winter is their down time and is when they should be completely pruned back to almost soil level. In Spring they will grow away quickly. Mulch in Summer and although very drought hardy, normal garden watering will give best results. Don’t forget to fertilise! |
