A very hardy, long living, slow growing plant which produces small white flowers on a spear to 2 metres tall in spring from time to time. Forms new grass heads after spear flower dries off. Grass trees benefit from having their grass tops burned off occasionally by stuffing with newspaper and set alight to recreate the natural occurrence of bush fire.
Good rockery plant but not recommended to remain in supplied pot permanently. Can be positioned in full or partial sun tolerates dry or poor soil. can be fertilised occasionally with a small amount of organic fertiliser (Healthy Earth fertiliser)
